The turrets do not count towards the settlement’s defense rating. Most of the unique furniture is placed in a way that makes further placement of beds and other resources very difficult.Īll but one bed is owned by the Covenant faction and thus off-limits to the Sole Survivor. None of the unique turrets, beds, end tables, trash cans, or dressers can be scrapped, much less moved. Almost….Īlthough Covenant has several unique features to it, most of them are problematic to say the least: It even has several unique, not-seen-anywhere-else pieces of furniture that set it apart from other settlements, and comes complete with several turrets.

Covenant is a heavily fortified, yet somewhat idyllic (for the wasteland) location, easily defensible and with a reasonable amount of space for Settlers. If you cannot do this, the old version is still available in the Optional Files section.ĭuring the course of the game, the Sole Survivor can be given access to Covenant as a player settlement. However, to move/scrap the End Tables found in Covenant you will now need to alter your Fallout4.ini file in your Documents/My Games/Fallout4/ directory (detailed instructions below). Sanctuary is nice and large, but it is at the outskirt of the map and not as ideal a location.UPDATE v1.2: New version which does not alter the Covenant cell directly, and thus will not induce the Cell Reset Bug. It is a great location, being at the center of the map, and a potential "hub" for your supply network. My settlers never had a problem opening the locked doors (they sleep in the beds inside), and I didn't give them the keys either maybe because I had already unlocked them.īut still, Covenant is too small in area, so I don't foresee doing much building there. Regarding the bed situation, I went into workshop mode and simply "assigned" a settler to a bed, and it would turn into a "green" safe bed. So I built 4 new turrets inside the houses to get 20 defense to keep settlers happy. The old turrets would still shoot at your enemies so I didn't want to lose their defensive help. I left the old turrets where they were, and built new turrets inside the houses where they wouldn't see the old turrets and, thus, wouldn't shoot at them. For the locked doors, you need to give keys to the settler that will use/ live in the house Make your own turrets any kind, in their place.ģ. Open console command with ~, then click on the turret, then type disable, do this for every turrets. For the turrets, we can only replace them. Open console command with ~, then click on the item/ container, then type setownership, do this for every Items and containers.Ģ.

After you got Covenant as settlement, first thing first we need to mark all items and containers as owned by player. Here is the solutions : (only if you side against 'x')ġ. There yet still problem, 3 of 4 houses in covenant have locked doors, so your settlers can't use it. Another problem is the turrets don't give real defense and are not your ally.ģ. The items, containers still marked as not owned, that means if you take it the game consider as stealing.Ģ. The place is not that big, but big enough to make as the primary settlement, in case you need to play a new game and want a primary settlement that beautiful but not to big.ġ. Covenant is potential settlement with I see as the most beautiful houses that nearly still intact.
